*** New Drinks this weekend at Bexters ***

*** New Drinks for Mums (& Dads) this weekend at Bexters ***
We’re bringing in two new drinks this weekend we’d like you to know about.

For our gin drinkers we will have the superb “Fifty Pounds” Gin in stock. A gin created and named to mock the £50 levy that the crown tried to collect from the thousands of unlicensed distillers across England in the 1736 Gin Act (and only two reportedly bothered to pay). Dry Juniper on the tip of the tongue, followed by lemon, coriander and angelica. It’s a clean and crisp, easy drinking gin!

For those with a taste for Whisky we will be stocking the powerhouse Laphroaig 10yr single malt peated Islay Whisky. The most richly flavoured of all Scotch whiskies! Distilled on the remote island of Islay off the West Coast of Scotland, Laphroaig (pronounced La-froyg). The smoke from peat gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. Swirl to release the pungent, earthy aroma of peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley and the delicate heathery perfume of Islay’s streams.

Enjoy! x

Social Sundays is a new concept at Bexters. It’s open to everyone, old and young alike. Grab a coffee, a beer or a cocktail. Bring your nan and your kids. Play board games, have a chat, relax and listen to great live music acts.

Get yourselves there early to bag a seat and soak up the atmosphere. We expect this to be a very popular event.

Our opening Sunday will feature the wonderfully talented Daniel Taylor. Daniel is a vocalist and pianist studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. Enjoy stripped back versions of classics from the 70’s all the way up to the latest charts.
